Dr. Gale C. Campbell

My philosophy is to help you comfortably achieve a beautiful, healthy smile by providing excellent quality dental care in a kind, caring and fun atmosphere! Our office provides an upbeat setting that makes people feel better about themselves and allows them to enjoy better dental health.

Education

I did my undergraduate studies at Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and earned my doctor of dental surgery degree at the University of Washington. With 30+ years experience and over 1000 hours of advanced dental education at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, DOCs Sedation, Ogram Surgical and Zimmer Implant Institute my goal has always been to bring Grant County the latest quality dentistry and best possible care using the latest advancements in dental technology.

I continue my education by participating in the Grant County Dental Society and the Columbia Basin Implant Study Club. In addition I continue memberships in several associations;

Outside the office

I am a native of Grant County, I grew up in Soap Lake, WA.  I moved to Ephrata after graduating from the UofW School of Dentistry. I live here with my wife, Vickie. We have four daughters and 7 grandchildren. I enjoy creating jewelry, playing the guitar and flugal horn, riding motorcycles of all kinds, golf and other outdoor activities.

My Goals for My Patients:

My goal has always been to help our patients feel comfortable and to guide them through the insurance and finances, so they can ultimately have the smile of their dreams.

My initial training came from Dr Campbell.  He has always encourage his team to be the best they can be, by offering continuing education.

Continuing Education:

I attended, in 2000, the Hawaii Dental Conference in Honolulu HI.  I have been fortunate over the years to have attended multiple Whitehall Team and Whitehall Management seminars as well as The Richards Report TBSE seminars in 2002 & 2004 on team training. In 2003 & 2004 I attended the Las Vegas Institute for cosmetic training and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) seminars in 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008.  I attended Jay Geires Scheduling Institute  in 2007. Dr Campbell has just taken us to another DOC’s seminar July 2010 that focused on Total Facial Esthetics…how to integrate Botox & Dermal fill into a dental practice.

Why I Love Dentistry:

Over the years I have seen lives changed with the dentistry that Dr Campbell provides. This is what I enjoy…the opportunity to help our patients achieve their dreams of a beautiful & healthy smile.

My Goals for My Patients:

To teach them how they can achieve optimal oral health.  For them to be comfortable during their time with me and to feel free to ask questions.

I started my career in dentistry as a dental hygiene assistant in 1997.  Then I graduated from a branch of SUNY with a Dental Hygiene degree in 2000.  my expertise is periodontal care, anesthetic and restorative  treatment.

Continuing Education:

Advanced instrumentation, ultra sonic scalar & anesthetic techniques.  Jay Geier Scheduling Institute, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOC’s) certified, sterilization & OSHA updates.  Technology & concepts in patient care and comfort.  Professional association memberships include ADHA and CBDHA. World Clinical Laser Institute certification.

Dr Campbell has just taken us to another DOC’s seminar July 2010 that focused on Total Facial Esthetics…how to integrate Botox & Dermal fill into a dental practice.

My goal is for them to be comfortable in our office.  To make sure they have all the information they need to make the choices that suite their personal life style.

Dental Expertise & Background:

I joined the dental field in 2000.  I trained at Moses Lake Community Health, and then moved to private practice in 2002.  My expertise is in patient education, treatment coordination and I am also bilingual (Spanish & English).

Continuing Education:

I received certification as a nurse’s aid as well as HIV certification in 1996.  I am also certified in CPR in 2008.  Dr Campbell has provided the following continuing education; Whitehall Management’s Team Training, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOC’s), The Richards Report Team Training & Jay Geier’s Scheduling Institute.

Why I Love Dentistry:

Being able to see immediate improvement with my patients health.  The ability to get to know the patients who come to our office on a personal  level.

I graduated from Apollo College in 2007.  I have had experience in an ortho office for 1 year in Spokane and have been training at Dr Campbell’s office since October 2008.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies & minors in Chemistry and Biology that enabled me to become familiar with the anatomy/function of the mouth.

Dr. Campbell does an excellent job of keeping us updated with current dentistry and safety issues and protocols.  I will be attending the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOC’s) in June 2009.
